The Cleveland Browns have signed free agent veteran quarterback Joe Flacco. The signing comes after Cleveland Browns’ starting quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending shoulder injury.

Before signing with the Cleveland Browns, Joe Flacco played for the New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, and Baltimore Ravens. Before Watson went down for the year, the Cleveland Browns were regarded as a top AFC team and Super Bowl contender. The Cleveland Browns signed Flacco in hopes of salvaging their season and in an effort to remain competitive.
